About
Over the past few years, I have developed a well-rounded understanding and proficiency in finance, and strategy. These skills combined together allow me to approach situations with a unique problem solving ability which focuses on different aspects.
I have an extensive understanding of the financial markets, and economics. I have studied the sub-prime crisis, and the current recession thoroughly, providing a solid foundation. I have completed the Canadian Securities Course, and have passed the Level 1 examination of the CFA program.
My experience in finance has been expanded through the years through a Analyst internship at General Motors, my previous entrepreneurial experience in founding a management consulting company specializing in small businesses, and assisting businesses with problem solving. I have also managed the Technology, Mining and Telecommunications sector as a fund manager for a student run investment fund, MACIC. I am also in the process of publishing a research study in the field of business valuation with Dr. Nick Bontis.
My goals are to work for a Consulting Firm, Investment Bank, PE Firm, or Hedge Fund. This is where I have found my passion for finance, and where I hope to begin my career.
